I have finally got around to packing up my thesis defence LaTeX project. It can be found at http://www.heinjd.com/docs/thesis/defence/defence.zip. This project contains a whole lot of additional content, like images I collected and chose not to use, as well as graph and table data which was part of the thesis, but not the defence.
Hopefully it will serve as a guide for people learning to use LaTeX or beamer.
